9 a.m. -- Choose one or two of these activities to complete on your own:
- Stop by your senator's office to confirm their availability to meet.
- Tour the capitol (tours are on the hour).
- Observe debate in the George W. Norris Legislative Chamber.
10 - 10:15 a.m. -- Welcome
10:15 - 11 a.m. -- Hear from select senators and elected officials
11 - 11:15 a.m. -- Legislative Process
11:15 - 11:30 a.m. -- What is a Lobbyist?
11:30 - 11:45 a.m. -- What is a Citizen Lobbyist?
11:15 a.m - Noon -- NCHEA Legislative Briefing
Noon - 12:15 p.m. -- Walk to First Baptist Church for lunch** and briefings
12:15 - 12:45 p.m. -- Impacting Nebraska Politics
12:45 - 1 p.m. -- Family Issues Update
1 - 1:30 p.m. -- Candidates discuss Obamacare and Education Reform
1:30 p.m. -- Visit your senator's office or participate in a hearing.
